
The Rowe Middle School 8A football team was named 8A district champions after defeating Arnold Middle School on Oct. 29 at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium.

Nov. 17, 2025—The 2025 CFISD middle school football season concluded on Oct. 29 with Rowe Middle School winning the 8A and 8B championships, Salyards Middle School winning the 7B championship and Goodson Middle School winning the 7A title.
The championship games were held at Cy-Fair FCU and Pridgeon stadiums. Rowe defeated Arnold Middle School, 38-8, to win the 8A title. In the 8B game, Rowe beat Arnold, 20-8.

“I felt ready because I’ve been preparing since the beginning,” said Rowe eighth grade student Edgar Arevalo Urias. “Me and my teammates have worked so hard. I did expect us to win, knowing that whatever happened, we will still keep fighting for that trophy.”
Goodson defeated Sprague Middle School, 52-46, to win the 7A championship. In the 7B game, Salyards defeated Hamilton Middle School, 20-7.
