Nov. 14, 2025—Representatives from Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial visited staff members at Cook Middle School and Rowe Middle School on Oct. 27 and Nov. 10, respectively, to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campuses.
CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.
Sherman On, managing partner at Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, shared his inspiration for adopting both campuses.
“When it comes to the opportunity to partner with our schools in this organized way of adoption, I’m amazed at the hard work that all of the teachers and staff do to be able to make each student’s experience as positive as possible,” On said. “We know that so many of our teachers use their personal funds in order to enhance the learning experience, and so we are extremely grateful that we can give back to our schools in CFISD.”

“We’re excited to partner with Modern Woodmen Financial,” Sebastian said. “Their support strengthens our school community and helps us create meaningful opportunities for our students. We’re grateful for their commitment to our Rangers.”
Stacia Carew, principal at Rowe Middle School, shared her gratitude for Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial adopting the campus.
“The Rowe Jags are so excited to have Mr. Sherman of Modern Woodmen adopt us,” Carew said. "We look forward to growing our partnership with him and working together to make great things happen for our students, staff and community. Welcome to the Jag Family!”
